The location was great for visiting the Old City of Montreal. Excellent service at the hotel.
The bathrooms are silly. Having the glass panel for the shower 2' from the bed is strange. Not being able to take a shower without illuminating the whole room is strange. It's not even a matter of privacy, it's a problem when people have different sleeping habits and the early bird can't make a move without awakening their partner.

The location of the hotel was perfect as well as the design of the rooms.
The cleanliness of the room wasn't like I'm used to in this category of hotels.

direct access to underground Metro, fine atrium view room, excellent concierge service
Incredibly confusing valet parking options need clarification!!! A more efficient check-in process would enhance guest experience greatly!!! The lack of clear signs around the premises left me bewildered.

The confort of the room; quality and tasty in room food;
The room not ready at 5 pm while check-in is at 3; waiting for the room for 15 minutes, request to have king bed and front view not respected; time waiting at front desk to be served; key not working and had to go back in line-up at front desk....time to receive our room service meal

Surprise birthday celebration bliss
The warmth of the staff enveloped us like a cozy blanket. Unexpectedly, they orchestrated a good surprise birthday celebration for my wife, which brought tears of joy. Every recommendation from concierge Sandrine was spot on.
Despite the charm, we encountered a hiccup with the valet service only operating on weekends, a surprise to us. It caused a bit of confusion but was ultimately manageable.

lacked a pool and a roof area for relaxing.

Convenience of being close to the Old City and Downtown shopping.
Rooms were dark and gloomy. Everything looked dirty....the showers, the sheets, the floors. I couldn't wait to check out!!!! The Acura travel program is apparently for trips only within an eight block perimeter; however, nowhere in their pamphlet does it disclose that. Every minor detail has a extremely overrated service charge attached to it. We did not have a view out our window at anything, we could not even tell if it was sunny or raining outside. For a $300 + a night room; I expected much more. Will never stay there again.
